The Australian Skin Cancer Foundation (ASCF) launched the world’s first mobile 3D skin check service with total body 3D imaging by Canfield Scientific’s groundbreaking VECTRA® WB360 whole-body imaging system. ASCF raises awareness about sun safety and increases access to skin checks – with this new service at no cost. Following the grand opening at the popular Manly Beach, this mobile clinic will travel nationwide to provide state-of-the-art care. The Australian Centre of Excellence in Melanoma Imaging & Diagnosis (ACEMID) recently received an additional $3 million grant from the Medical Research Future Fund. The grant will go towards increasing the accessibility of skin screenings in rural areas of Australia. This includes the establishment of a 16th site, Mildura Base Public Hospital, where Canfield Scientific’s VECTRA® WB360 whole-body imaging system will be installed.
