Brad Bengtson, M.D. has put away his books

Over the course of 25 years, the Bengtson Center for Aesthetics & Plastic Surgery has established itself as a world class plastic surgery destination for residents of Grand Rapids, West Michigan and beyond.  Here, patients can select from an extensive range of surgical and non-surgical procedures delivered with the perfect blend of expertise and style. And it is here that 360° body photography, now a standard feature in VECTRA 3D, was employed at an early stage for cosmetic surgery procedures.

C. William Hanke, M.D., F.A.C.P.: A Dermatologist's Dermatologist

It would be difficult to name a physician more closely identified with the practice and profession of dermatology than C. William Hanke, M.D. Yes, he has contributed to over 400 medical publications, served on numerous editorial boards and instructed at leading medical schools around the world. And he has established and directed surgical fellowship training programs. But he has also served as President of ... and this is only a partial list ... the AAD, the ASDS, the AACS, the ACMS and the AAAHC. He is currently a Senior Vice President of the Skin Cancer Foundation. You could say that Dr. Hanke is a dermatologist's dermatologist.

Plastic Surgery on Australia's Gold Coast

Pausing to adjust her sunglasses, a fashionably dressed woman emerged from the Hatteras 70 motor yacht docked at Marina Mirage in Australia's Gold Coast. Walking past the outdoor cafe and through the glass doorway to the reception area, she settled into a comfortable chair by the window. From there she could gaze out over the water while awaiting her appointment at Queensland's acclaimed beauty destination, the Esteem Medi Spa.

Effective Photography in Medical Research and Practice

As we enter the Maryland Laser, Skin, and Vein Institute (MDLSV), it appears to be the quintessential medical aesthetic practice. Patients relax in comfortable seating, soothed by soft lighting and the rippling sound of an elegant water sculpture. But just beyond the reception desk is a beehive of activity; a sprawling complex of hallways and treatment rooms, equipped with medical devices of every description. With four dermatologists and a staff of 40, this practice can treat 150 patients on a busy day. And with up to six Phase III clinical trials running at any given time, MDLSV is one of the world's leading dermatological study sites.

Now in 3D: Clinical Imaging at Long Island Plastic Surgical Group

With some final instructions to an associate in the hallway, Senior Surgeon Vincent DiGregorio, MD, FACS stepped through the door of his office at Long Island Plastic Surgical Group (LIPSG) in Garden City, NY. Settling into the chair behind his desk, he peeled the surgical mask from his neck and turned his attention to his guests. An anatomically correct model of a human skull peered at us over his left shoulder. Half of the skull was bare to the bone while musculature and blood vessels clung to the other side. "That's Handsome Harry" he explains with a smile. "So, what can I do for you today?"
