A Letter to Our Customers About the Coronavirus
At Canfield Scientific, the safety and well-being of our employees and our customers is always our highest priority. Considering the uncertainty we all face with the outbreak of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), I wanted to let you know about the steps Canfield Scientific is taking to ensure we are prepared. We are also doing everything that we can to support the continued operation of your business during this time.
Aligning with public health authorities
Our management team is leading our response to this pandemic and we have Business Continuity Plans to ensure the continuation of our services. We are closely monitoring updates from the Centers for Disease Control and the World Health Organization regarding COVID-19. We will continue to seek guidance from these agencies, public health officials and government agencies on an ongoing basis.
Our Teams
Where feasible, all our teams across the globe are now working from home, something we already have the flexibility to do, as our systems and processes are designed to securely support this type of work environment. In addition, we have canceled company events and customer visits until further notice.
Our Customers
We understand customers are relying on Canfield products and services to meet their business objectives. Canfield’s infrastructure and processes allow us to provide the same level of customer service, training and sales support you have come to expect. The Canfield research group, along with our talented product developers, the source of our many technical innovations, are working remotely and uninterrupted during this phase. And our manufacturing and production teams are continuing to produce our award-winning products. We are maintaining the same business hours and staffing of our customer support help desk to ensure your satisfaction.
Assisting our employees
We are in continuous communication with our employees reminding them about the importance of social distancing, active hand-washing, and are providing them with health education and support whenever needed. Employees who feel ill have been told to not report to work and we have specific quarantine and communication procedures in place should an employee be diagnosed with COVID-19 or is asked to self-isolate by a public health authority, and to provide comprehensive benefits to support them.
Throughout this time, we’ll be relentlessly focused on doing everything we can to support our customers and our teams.
Please stay safe and healthy,
Doug Canfield, President
