Dr. Halpern demonstrated how the system captures cross-polarized and non-polarized images using 92 cameras firing simultaneously, providing an accurate 3D representation of the patient’s skin. The VECTRA WB360 provides clinicians like Dr. Halpern a powerful tool to screen patients thoroughly, especially important now since so many have missed their normal appointments in the past year due to the pandemic. The Journal of American Academy of Dermatology reported as many as 19,600 melanomas may not have been diagnosed or treated in 2020.
