Baptist Health Monitors High-risk Skin Cancer Patients With VECTRA® WB360 3D Imaging Technology
The Miami Cancer Institute at Baptist Health South Florida demonstrates using the VECTRA WB360 to capture whole body images of a patient’s skin to screen for the earliest signs of skin cancer. Dr. Naiara Braghiroli explains how the WB360 stands out against other total body systems with its ability to capture the entire patient’s skin surface with 92 high definition cameras. Using these photos to create a single baseline image of the whole body, the advanced 3D body mapping technology displays all the moles on the patient’s body, helping doctors quickly examine individual lesions and monitor for potential skin cancer.
