Customer Service Associate

The ideal candidate for the Customer Service Associate position is a motivated, self-starter with direct customer interaction via phone and email and performs productively in a fast-paced work environment that has both shifting priorities and requires a high degree of follow through. This individual will multitask to meet both planned and short notice deadlines while assisting with recurring and repetitive administrative tasks.

Job Description:

  • Responds to high volume of technical emails directing customers appropriately and documenting communication efficiently
  • Create repair quotes and communicate repair status to customers, investigating the repair when needed
  • Administrative duties as assigned including, but not limited to, mail merges, accurate spreadsheet management, communicating support status to customers, and forwarding sales leads
  • Complete event planning and individual travel reservations
  • Assist with order fulfillment, warranty transfers, and monitor marketing material inventory
  • Maintain polished customer service with both internal and external customers
  • Communicate issues, escalating to appropriate individuals/team when merited

Core Requirements:

  • Associates degree or two years’ work experience (technology/customer service field preferred)
  • Strong analytical abilities to determine specific customer information, cross-referencing it with additional systems to confirm customer attributes, versions, products, and updating a customer database portal to ensure it is current
  • Sound organizational skills, technical workflow understanding, and detail oriented
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office and in high-volume email management
  • Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with customers and professional communications

Desired:

  • Photography background is advantageous
  • Experience in technology/customer service fields and with service contracts is a plus
