Canfield’s VECTRA WB360® combines advanced 3D-body mapping technology with A.I. to assist Baptist Health doctors with melanoma screenings
Canfield’s VECTRA WB360® provides doctors at Baptist Health in Miami advanced body mapping technology as they monitor patients for the earliest signs of melanoma. The advanced imaging system includes 92 cameras flashing simultaneously, with cross-polarized and polarized lighting to reveal all skin features. Naiara Braghiroli, MD, PHD, explains that with the VECTRA’s advanced body mapping technology, doctors at Baptist Health can create a 3D avatar of their patient, and “can navigate every single lesion and every part of the skin”. Additionally, DermaGraphix® software includes DEXI, an explainable A.I. algorithm, that allows doctors using the VECTRA WB360 to view and track changes in lesions for a “second opinion” before making their ultimate diagnosis.
