Systems Test Engineer - Clinical Systems

We are looking for an experienced Systems Test Engineer - Clinical Systems to complete web, mobile, and Windows based application testing.  The ideal candidate is one who performs productively in a fast-paced work environment, works efficiently on multiple projects simultaneously, has great communication skills, functions effectively as part of a team while also working independently, and has a proven track record of handling repetitive tasks.

Job Description:

  • Review and test software specifications
  • Validate that both software and hardware performs to established guidelines
  • Create and execute manual/automated test scripts for regression, installation and performance/stress testing
  • Monitor and communicate defects with developers
  • Use automation tools to automate the test process
  • Train users in operation and usage of software and hardware products
  • Provide Tier-2 support for escalated issues
  • Entry to mid-level SQL and scripting when required
  • Query and manipulate data from multiple systems while communicating clearly with the project team

Core Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related) and 2-5 years’ experience in related field
  • Demonstrated experience in functional, regression, performance, installation, compatibility, end-to-end/system, and incremental integration testing
  • Experience installing/configuring Windows on a PC/Hardware
  • Complete back-end testing using SQL queries
  • Capacity to observe workflows and diagnose problems, as well as propose improvements
  • Motivated with the ability to meet deadlines and manage changing priorities


  • Scripting or Programming in .Net, PHP, VB & VBA, or C++/C#
  • Working knowledge of XML. Ability to understand/manipulate XML files
  • Photography knowledge/background is advantageous
